This hasn’t been a quick certification or a passing trend; it’s been a long-term commitment, shaped by curiosity, care, and countless hours of advanced training. I’m a bit of a curly hair education addict.

What to Expect at Your First Curly Appointment

From the moment you arrive, it’s all about slowing down and tuning in. We start with a relaxed, in-depth consultation where we listen to your hair history, what’s worked (and what hasn’t), and how your curls behave day-to-day. Every curl pattern is unique, and we’re here to honour yours—not force it into a one-size-fits-all shape.

Your hair will be cut dry in its natural state, so we can see its true form, bounce, and flow. We follow with a luxurious cleanse and hydration treatment tailored to your curls, and finish with a styling lesson using techniques and products suited to your texture and lifestyle.

You’ll leave feeling seen, confident, and empowered to care for your curls at home.

Please arrive with your hair clean, dry, and worn out in its natural curl pattern—no buns, braids, or hats so we can see your curls in all their glory.

Curly cuts last so much longer than traditional cutting between 3 - 18mths, 3 mths if you like to keep it short or by doing the hydration method your curls will stay healthier for longer.
